Our Approach
Respiratory therapy services are designed to help patients with breathing, lung or heart disorders.
Licensed therapists assist patients in improving their lung function through exercise, aerosol medication delivery, airway management and patient education. Our therapists are also highly skilled in caring for infants with underdeveloped lungs in Community Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit as well as for patients requiring critical care in our hospitals’ adult intensive care units.

PULMONARY FUNCTION TEST
Evaluates the functionality of the lungs to determine lung disease, including how much air capacity is available, the speed at which air moves in and out of the lungs and how well the lungs utilize oxygen and dispose of carbon dioxide.

Accredited programs for people with COPD and other chronic lung diseases.
