NORTHWEST INDIANA | Powers Health has been recognized with NRC Health Excellence in Patient Experience Awards, highlighting their commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.
Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart and Powers Health Rehabilitation Center in Crown Point received the 2026 Small Health System Award.
Powers Health Rehabilitation Center also earned the Specialty Hospital Award.
The Excellence in Patient Experience Awards recognize healthcare organizations that excel in creating meaningful patient experiences. Honorees are selected based on Real-time Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance across a variety of care settings and organization types, reflecting a commitment to putting patients first and advancing the quality of care.

NRC Health selected award recipients based on performance in categories patients identified as most important. Healthcare systems and hospitals were recognized for their scores on the “Would Recommend Facility” measure from April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026.
