Healthy Legs Live Longer

Treatments, symptoms and solutions including the new L.I.V.E. program offered at Community Hospital and St Mary Medical Center which helps heal wounds and salvage limbs.

Do you find yourself experiencing tired cramping legs or have a leg wound that won’t heal? Peripheral vascular disease or peripheral arterial disease is a sign of calcium build up that gradually narrows the vessels in your legs. When an artery is blocked or narrowed, the part of the body supplied by that artery does not get enough blood/oxygen, a condition called ischemia. Critical limb ischemia can lead to heart attack, stroke and even leg amputation.

Find out about the new Limb Ischemia and Vascular Excellence (LIVE) program. Education materials will be provided at event.
