Colorectal Cancer: Screening, Surgery and Survival

To observe March as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month Oncologist-Hematologist Rozina Chowdhery, MD,  General Surgeon Katherine Foley, MD, and Gastroenterologist Peter Mavrelis, MD, will review risk factors, screening and diagnostic tools and surgical and non-surgical treatment options for colorectal cancer. Screening remains an essential tool for detecting colon cancer in its early stages.

The Cancer Care Center of  St. Mary Medical Center will provide free take-home screening kits for those in attendance (while supplies last).
